thats right, he uses hybrid picking a lot. its crazy how he co-ordinates it so well

He fingerpicks and also uses hybrid picking in which both the pick and fingers pluck the strings smoothly. Perfect technique and coordination of both hands and a self admitted obsession over tone(and original 50's strats and twin reverbs!!!!!!) add up to some amazing tone :)
