Unfortunately, United States law says that you cannot actually pull a gun on an abusive boyfriend/girlfriend (for those select few out there) and pull the trigger, it'd still be a murder charge, but it'd be reduced to manslaughter and you'd never get a life sentence or the death penalty. It isn't worth it to kill him anyway, just make him suffer. Dammit, I'm a man and I'd support a woman through this.

jeez! I feel sorry for you. did he get convicted? how long is he serving? seems to me he needs to go to death roll. I don't understand what is goin through a guys mind to treat a lady like that. or a child for that matter. these guys piss me off alot. a real man would never do a thing like that! gah that just angers me. Girls, like Friend 2y0u says, a Guy starts getting physical, give him some Abuse and see how he lives it! I might be a Guy, but I know how to treat a girl.

Girls, my cousin and her daughter were both killed by a guy who had a restraining order out against him because he had been physically abusive. I would encourage any girl to take the message of Miranda Lamberts song to heart. If a guys coming after you to do you harm, by all means, show him what little girls are made of in the manner Miranda Lambert describes.
