grenade...this movement has gone on all over the world...not one person has been stabbed by an escaped criminal with a knife! i do understand your point...that you can never be too careful...but that goes for everyday life! unfortunately, something horrible can happen to you in your own home, while walking in a parking lot, while driving in your car. it's much less likely to happen in a public setting with a lot of people around.

what if that stranger is an escaped criminal and you go to hug him and he has a knife?? yeah cant be to carefull not every one you meet on the street wants a friendly hug

kyza226...i agree. so many people just shuffle thru their day without interacting with other people. we've become robotic! i love your idea of giving people flowers...it's a simple way to give a smile! i like to buy lunch for the person behind me in the drive thru...it's just a nice unobtrusive way to make someone smile. to give a hug is better, because it's the human touch that makes a big difference. we need to re-connect as human beings!

how wonderful is it to get a hug from someone, especially if you don't know them? I love them. I like to give people flowers sometimes. Does that mean that I am going to attack them later because i have stalked them to their house? No. I just wanted them to smile, and have a good day. That is what they're doing, making people smile, even if they just laugh a little as they walk by. I hope i can find them one day
