Oh my... I love this song, it keeps reminding me of my grandmother who passed away about a month ago. She absoultely adored Willie Nelson, and especially this song - it was sung in funeral:) I emailed Willie Nelson the other day, and I got an answer! Don't think it was Willie himself who wrote it, it was most likely the people who works for him. But they answered me! They recieve thousands of mails daily, and they chose to answer me:) This man is a genious! His music has a special meaning to me

Elvis was good but tried to put too much into it made it sound STUPID. Willy Gay&Drugs Nelson wrote it and sings it better, hands down. No comparison in feeling and true feelings. Willy The Whisp wins!
