I used to think anime in general was obnoxious as my experience had been limited to the likes of bad Saturday morning cartoons and passable programs like Bleach. Seeing Miyizaki movies totally changed my impression, and made me realize how some anime can be as deep and beautiful as any top live action film out there.

I love how Hayao Miyazaki's movies use a lot of female leads. :-)

And in the trailer, what movie is the one with the giant mouse thing at 4:46?

This might be a total shot in the dark, but there's one film about a boy who rides an elk and a girl that lives with a pack of giant, talking wolves. And there's this forest spirit thing, and the bad guys behead it and some other things... I'm sorry I can't remember it all. Does anyone know what movie I'm talking about?

I really wish Miyazaki had done an OVA for Nausicaa that followed the manga instead of a single movie.
