To realsamwise: Have to agree with you partly. I advocate natural urban sprawl, as among useful tools to help ACCOMODATE rising human populations. People living in the inner city, in the suburbs, in the countryside, all tend to have babies and grow more numerous. All those people have to live somewhere. Why do enviro-radicals whine about sprawl? Sprawl can be beautiful, can bring jobs, and more people around experiencing life is a very good thing. Having babies is very good for the economy.

To realsamwise: People should not use any birth control, and welcome their babies to naturally push out. A more pronatalist world would so much easier absorb the rising population levels. Why pollute one's own body directly with unnatural awkward contraceptive potions and poisons? If we claim to want to live closer to nature, or whatever nonsense, then welcome our natural increase unhindered, so that all the more fellow human beings may experience life. Encourage large families worldwide.

To realsamwise You would live in a cave? Really? Why don't you live in a cave now? Not everybody can live in caves. By supply and demand, if everybody was to be primitive and live in caves, cost of cave housing would be impossibly high There's no window view, in a cave. Caves are too cold. But maybe useful for housing, if they are dry enough and stable? Which I doubt But a cave big enough to build a nice home in, likely is big enough for neighbors to live there too. Why not welcome neighbors?

To realsamwise: Yes, I do think jobs should be more portable somehow, so at to let people live where they want, rather than drawing more people into crowded cities, well unless they want to live in crowded big cities anyway? But how can we just "make" the ideal jobs? Train people how to be entreprenuers. Get Big Brother government off our backs. Call for national repentence, impeach Obama, try him and other DemocRATS for treason and crippling our nation with runaway debt and deficit spending.

I have a better plan. Lets work on perfecting reversible vasectomies and have all out little boys sterilized at birth. When they reach a certain age, get married and/or decide they want kids they can have a surgery to become fertile again. A very small percent of men care enough about having kids to do this and only the ones that do should really be fathers anyway. Some baby crazy women would bitch but to hell with them anyway. .

Sub)Urban sprawling Is not a problem over population is. People who hammer at Urban sprawl are just going to the sea and yelling at the waves for being too loud. People always have lived in places as remote as possible while still being able to feed themselfs. If it where not this way all 9 billion of us would be living in the rift valley in Africia

You can say "we" don't want to live that way but look around..."WE" clearly do! "WE" have been doing it since the day we landed in North America and will continue to do so. Look at the layout of historical towns man. people with the economic ability to do so live on the outskirts of town and people with no other choice live in city central. When we where on horseback that ment two or three miles outside of town not 75 or 100 but its the same idea. Far enough out that nobody will bug me
