i forgot to say that i add a lil salt and LOTSA pepper cause i love pepper during the cooking process. plus, at the very end i drench the dish with lemon juice. half a lemon per serving. i like sour dishes :D

a good recipe for green beans. bring water to a boil, and while the water comes to a boil, cook up some bacon cut into 1 inch pieces. meanwhile blanch the beans for a few minutes (keep them firm, dont cook too much!). the beans finish before the bacon, so take them into cold water to stop cooking. drain. when bacon is done, move both to a pan to finish cooking the beans/bacon with cubed tomato. only until the tomato has softened a bit. don't make it into mush! all pieces should be firm.

Hey showboat-
Don't make it seam like Rocket Science. Anybody can grow green beans. They are the easiest of all vegetables to grow. High sand loam and water is all thats needed.
