embarreras, I love the way Miami Cubans always claim they came to the USA for "freedom and democracy". What's funny is that El Salvador has "freedom and democracy". So does Guatamala. So does Bolivia...and Haiti. Why don't these freedom-hungry Cubans ever go there? Could it be because these countries don't have MONEY? Nahhh....that would be just too shallow. Wouldn't want to believe that Cubans risked their lives for SUVs, HDTVs and Disneyland.

No freedom of speech, no right of dissent, no right to protest, no right to criticize. The other side rails against Americans who practice their right to dissent, criticize and protest their government. That side of her mouth asks them to LEAVE. ...and she calls THEM "hypocritical"?

embarr- Yours is a much repeated diatribe. I've seen this exact same post whenever you meet your critics, which seem to be many. Living in America isn't about just about wrapping yourself up in a flag. Patriotism requires diligence and harsh criticism of your leaders. You belong to this army of scared housewives who believe that happiness is all about SUVs, HDTVs, Starbucks and shopping malls. A weekly trip to church, and voila! You're a happy, fat American!

HisDream919.I'm devastated over what seems to be your tragic life as a 24 yr old living in the USA. What's even more tragic is that I'm sure someone is keeping you here against your will. Is there no way out for you? I'm sure the US government can arrange something for you, should you be desperate enough to need to return to whatever paradise you hail from. Perhaps someone forced you into the country. That seems to be the big problem with all the hypocrites living in this country. How tragic!

embar- USA always comes "running"? Look, let's be clear here: country's don't have FRIENDS, they have INTERESTS. There is little work the USA does that they don't expect some kind of pay-off, either now or later. Most of this "saving" you speak of is propaganda itself. What you don't hear is that the USA is often the root-cause of the problem to begin with. The USA SEEMS to come to the rescue of Cuba, however, if you do your homework, the USA was no different than Castro. They both abused Cuba!

Darling look up, the meaning of the word decadent, it's means decaying or falling apart, deteriorating. That is my country you are talking about and you couldn't be more wrong. That was everyday life in Cuba and those were Cubans going about their everyday activities. When is the last time you heard a Cuban being an authority on Sweden. What's all this anti USA propaganda, don't you know when something goes wrong around the world , it is always Americans that come running to save everyone.
