Honolulu Advertiser union employees earn key support
Union employees of The Honolulu Advertiser, a Gannett-owned newspaper, hold a lunch hour rally outside their offices to hear words of support from Congressman Neil Abercrombie. The unions are fighting proposed pay cuts, but U.S. Rep. Abercrombie-- citing information in Gannett's corporate report-- said the Advertiser's owner is doing well and should give employees a fair offer.
