But if all dictionary defintions are different, how can you say that one dictionary determines exactly how that word should be defined? I don't think the English language can be changed by how we think, it is a set concept, but I do think I can have an opinon on whether I think something actually exists or not, especially if it is an abstract concept and not something physical like a cow.

basically you're saying you live in a fantasy world where the deciding powers regarding the meaning of words have no control over your use of the language. you're wrong, the dictionary is proof. if you say a cow is a horse it's still a cow despite the fact you decide not to believe that is what the word cow represents.

As I posted b4, but didn't come up for some reason, all dictionaries have different definitions, stop with your obsession with dictionaries, i don't care what they say. I personaly believe it is not naturally healthy to feel no sexual desire what so ever, and those that claim to be asexual are either in denial or very ill, therefore I don't think it exist, like some people don't think bisexaulism exists.

This song is still so much better than the crap I'm hearing in the blatant corporate constipation of music in North America. It has something to say and its catchy as hell.

go buy a dictionary.
asexual a·sex·u·al (ā-sěk'sh&oomacr;-əl)
adj.
1. Having no evident sex or sex organs; sexless.
2. Relating to, produced by, or involving reproduction that occurs without the union of male and female gametes, as in binary fission or budding.
3. Lacking interest in or desire for sex.
Android18uk (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
A lack of desire for sex is not called asexuality. Lack of sexual desire is rare but can be due to disorders like hypoactive sexual desire disorder. But these disorders are usually a result of psychological problems from abuse etc, no one could naturally be born with a lack of sexual desire. I don't even care if some people claim to be asexual , that is not correct and they should use a different word. Also that last sentence was a rhetorical question so there is a question mark.
scottbaioisdead (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
no it is the point. a human born without sex organs would be sterile not asexual in the case you mean but still referred to as asexual lacking sex, a human who could produce without using a sperm and egg would be asexual, a human who was produced asexually would also be asexual and a human who has no desire for sex is also asexual. words can have more than one meaning. surely if you went to school you would know that. also you'd know there's no question mark at the end of that sentence. learn
Android18uk (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
That's not the point, humans can't be asexual unless they were born without sex organs or something, but anything in nature that's called asexual reproduces by itself. Surely if you went to school you would know that?
