Tom Collins is gay. If you don't believe me, watch I'll Cover You. And RENT isn't a gay movie. It's an epic musical that happens to have gay characters. If you're too dense to understand what's happening, then go somewhere else. Some of us appreciate RENT including the gay people, not in spite of them. So go somewhere else and spread all this crap. And next time you want to trash a movie, do some research

Marc, Mimi, and Roger are all straight. I don't see how that makes any difference though. The movie is about acceptance, love, and learning to live life to its fullest. The most touching love story is perhaps between Angel and Collins. Seeing the love and tenderness they share, how can we claim that this somehow lesser than the "straight" couples?
