Well, obviously if she rankles your feathers, she's doing something right. The song may be more conceptual than tuneful in the most basic sense, but it also rocks and is fun to watch how she digs into it. The tapping isn't really any more of a gimmick than what folks like Eddie Van Halen, Les Paul, Michael Hedges, Leo Kottke, or Tommy Emmanuel do. She is an immense talent and this is a great track.

what an ignorant comment for someone who can't appreciate talent. What she is doing is no parlor trick. That is something that takes many many hours and months of practice just to get the sound perfect without any buzzing. but of course, you wouldn't know that.

A waste of a perfectly good guitar. Lose the gimmicks, take that crap out of your lip, and come back when you have more than a parlor trick. This piece of music says absolutely nothing....just pointless self-indulgence.
