This is beautiful. She was THE first to win an Oscar(best supporting). She certainly showed her mettle as an actress in this role. After this, her career went into neutral and only recovered when she took on the role of Beulah on radio in '47, (and six episodes on television, 1952) and played it until her death in October 1952. I am so glad that she is getting her 'DO' after years of being discounted because of the roles she played. May she RIP!!!

I love the dress changing scene when McDaniel's Mammy one-ups Leigh's Scarlett, stealing the show, and breaking away from the regular on screen mammy and holding her own.
