I think you haven't been listening to rock at all. Women have been trying to duplicate the original rock voice, to no avail though. This is an exception. Please look further into my points and quit dismissing them with ridiculous retorts like, "Oh it's not rock, that's Bryan Adams." You haven't proven me wrong on how her vocals sound uncategorized, seemingly pop-ish.

Ok, look, rock isn't all that. There are many bands out there that are considered rock but don't have that rouch tone to it. And actually, I don't think you've really looked hard enough because there is a hell of a lot of girl singers who can do that voice and make it sound good! and when it comes to screaming, once again, I'll tell you, there is a hell of a lot of amazing girl screamers out there who top a LOT of guys I've heard. Honestly, go and check it out, you'll be amazed.

Also, if I'm being sexist, then how come girls can't pee standing up? Same type of scenario. Girls simply don't have the tonal strength to sing rock correctly.
