I love those lyrics too. Perfect game song. As for who is singing it. It IS GLaDOS. Play the game again with the creator commentary in which the people who made the game specifically tell you who is singing the song.

She was not distriod all the way because she said she is still alive. and her voice changed because I saw the the pieces were her personality like anger, ciriasity, and happy ness (PLAY THE END AGAIN TO SEE WHAT I MEAN). the piece that was still alive was kindness. She was telling you that you missed a spot.
