its simply just the last two movements of Vivaldi's Gloria.

Fabulous instrumentals, and great singing. Truly beautiful. However, what on earth's going on with the lyrics? They seem to have completely changed the words. Has this just been done for this recording, or is this a version I simply don't know. Can anyone shed any light on this?

You write : "sorry for my english" Comme moi, tes profs n'étaient pas très bons lol ?? As me, your teachers were not very good, ah ah ah.. Ah la 3è soprano, i'm fall in love at 62's !!

Why would you come to a post on beautiful music like this and behave like an idiot? Aren't there other websites for that?

Wonderful.

yup, 'cept being written for the girls in venice i often wonder if this was supposed to be sung higher.

The Gloria is made up of several lines of sacred text, the first being "Gloria in excelsis deo". The rest of the text is standard mass ordinary junk which you can google if ya really want. This mvmt, just before the cum sancto spiritu, is the setting of "Quoniam tu solus sanctus" which Tony, prolly for lack of time and energy, used the same material from the first mvmt. It also fits the text pretty well, but hey, who cares as long as you enjoy the music, right? :D

Oooh... I love this. I sang this when I was in the Tahoma Girls' Choir with The Tacoma Symphony Orchestra. It was AMAZING...
