And was he programmed to lock-up if there's a faillure or something? Right at the moment he falls, he's frozen.

A stairs, a 1 milion robot and an enormous screen with 'Honda, the power...blabla'. 1 moment where they show off what they can... and they fail. This would be a disaster if they weren't that big.

the asimo was suposed to climb the stairs without the visual sensor in this test if im not wrong...my brother was watching this test... but the sensitive foot sensors faild to maintain the balance, and asimo fallen backwards... it's head hit the ground first, and, since asimo was suposed to mostly operate with visual, all the main sensors-info-process-units where probably in the head, they got damaged and asimo was not gettin up again, so they hided it for trying a fast technical repair.

There goes a super-expensive robot, because someone forgot to program him to look at the stairs he was ascending. That's what happens when you get cocky, ASIMO!
