Here's the real story for you who want it. The birth of Jeasus Christ is widely believed to be September 29th. The reason that we celebrate Christmas on the 25th is because in 354, Pope Liberius set this as the day of celebration because, in Rome, the pagans celebrated their other gods on that day and the Pope wanted to have the same celebration and gathering for the one true God and knew that this would be an easy way to accomplish said goal. So this is not 'based on other religions' son.

actually it is a holiday based on other religions converted into a christian holiday even though jesus was not born any where near this time...look it up. Learn something.

Have you ever lost someone around the holidays? I have my brother 2yrs ago and no matter what song is playing during the holidays I will be sad. When I listen to this song it always helps me to remember what the Season is really about. It's not about trees or gifts,it's about the birth of our Saviour, about loving,caring and compassion towards others. That is what Christmas is about.

spartans4351, you obviously don't know the true meaning of Christmas. It is not completely about happiness, you do know that this is a Christian holiday, and thats is is that Jesus was born on that day. Do you think God was happy when he gave his sun to be sacrifised for our sin? Again, it is not about happiness, it is about giving, and if you are to insensitive to give a darn about anyone but yourself and family, then don't get into the Christmas mood in the first place.
