I saw him in Concert ( Sydney, NS ) when I was just 17. I matured along-side his tunes during my druggy days.. He he! It's now been almost 20 yr.'s later! I still enjoy the Burton!

burton truly is an awesome singer, havent seen him in concert , but always love hearing his awesome voice...... so many great songs he had thanx for the post

I was there too, second row! His voice is still absolutely distinct and perfect. Glamour boy, these eyes, american woman and of course break it to them gently were the standout songs for me.

Went to see Burton at the casino Friday night in Halifax N.S. Let me tell you, that was absolutely incredible!! His voice & stage presence is just as good today as it was 30 years ago. I got goosebumps listening to him do this tune. Before he played These Eyes he said he was up late the night before drinking, gambling and smoking Canadian cigarettes & to forgive him if that tune sounded rough! Needless to say it sounded perfect!
