jimi reveloutionised guitar playing, he invented all the stances; playing on your kness, sliding and jumping around, he was the first guy to hav expressed wat he felt wen playing and killed that ''stand up straight static guitar stance of the 50s and early 60s..i mean he cud playu with his teeth!!!!!! nobody will better jimi's guitar playing because he was, is and will always define the word guitar playing!!

I love his voice too, really overshadowed by his incredible Guitar. I like to compare him to Jimmy Page, because there like Polar Opposites but both masters at the music they created.

Jimi is the best - because he's had the most influence on ANY guitarist without question. Ohers have done different stuff but he's the original. And to the racist person mjva2009 - try and listen to Jimi's music and it might help you. Particularly Machine Gun. It's about you.
