We just used a Jody Watley remix in the new playlist for my exercise class. (A great remix of Lookin' For A New Love-BPM vs Alison Limerick Remix) And it reminded me of how we used to LOVE this video. Jody was definitely a style icon back in the day. My favorite looks are all the "menswear" looks she wore. (The man-tailored suit on the catwalk with that FIEEEEEEERCE ponytail. And the suit with the little bra top. I also love the suit-look when she was shot sideways with her name on screen. HOT

I love Jody. When she left Shalamar, every one said she wouldn't make and she was the one who really succeeded from that group and Snagged a GRAMMY Award for best new artist in 1988 in the process. Go on Mizz Jody, I aint mad at you. Gurrrrrrrlllllll, you still look good and sing great love your latest CD too.

Hey cosmic kid. I agree she does look like Sade during the wole 'Paradise' era (braids look in video/slicked back hair). The rec co. probably used the same South American prostitute in both vids!
