thank you so much for sharing this. It is such an important lesson! I've wanted to say that so many times. So many young think that it's the end of the world when this kind of trauma happens, but, as young people, there is still so much life out there for them, and it's usually bound to get better! Thanks for your inspiration.

wth only 12 years old)... I was bullied because I was just a kid that liked to be a kid... And then I had to grew up so fast, cuz ive seen that people can be so mean to others. I always helped every new student to find his place, because I knew how hard it was... I though about suicide a thousand times... I wondered what the hell have i done wrong, its the right of every human being to be free.

I was bullied a lot when I had 12-16 years. And that just because I didn't fit in with the other girls. I always liked to wrote poetry and to read huge books (and sure to play with my dolls at that time)... And at the same time, those girls already wanted to grow up so fast, using make up and stuff

So srry for you & your daughter. That teacher needs to learn & bus driver need to learn acceptance & compassion so the can be better examples for the kids. I have Asperger' s Syndrome & went through a hard time being picked on by other kids.

margaretcatlett, That is OUTRAGEOUS! You HAVE to turn them in! Go to the school board. If nothing is done, go to the MEDIA! (that is the newspaper or local TV news station.) I will keep you in my prayers. Now go get 'em!!

margaretcatlett, the site is working. however, i have comment function set so that all commentds have to be approved by me before they show up. that is because of the "bullies". There are some mean-spirited people that come here and leave hateful remarks. This way, they never show up to the public. Once you've posted your comment, a little message pops up that says "comment pending approval". That means it won't show up until i approve.
