I think this groove is excellent! Ringo's like a metronome....Judge the drummer for what they play within the context of the music, not how many bpm they can cram in there. I've seen drummers that could do amazing things soloing but couldn't play in the pocket to save their lives! Its no fluke Ringo drummed for the most sucessfull band in the world!

Don't confuse simplicity with no talent....Ringo always played what the Beatles music called for.....go back and play along with those "simple songs" and maybe you'll understand. Besides todays music compared to yesterdays music is an apples to oranges type thing.

I really dont like to how people honor him as some drum king when there are millions of drummer who deserve that title and for those who gave me a poor comment give me a reason why I should be wrong because I got a whole list of drummers who are better than him show me a solo that make me want to apologize for my comment
