If you get it just right, the cap of the still closed bottle get loose so you can pull it off with your bare hands. Just be care both caps get loose when opening the first one or your feet get a beer shower..

Look at the lip of the open bottle. It has threads. He could have twisted the cap off.

You can also do this with the bottom of a lighter instead of another bottle. I would only use a bic though, since they're a bit sturdier than that cheapo see through plastic crap.
