I am a post grad architecture student here under the new 3 plus 2 program. 1. I am an international student so I can't say. 2. first year to second year is number crunching driven. You don't need to be a rocket scientest but you need a lot of time to learn the calculations. Trusses are not fun!!!!! 3. This university is really good. Once you graduate here, you can be a computer science architect, interior, or just an architect. I wish I could write more.... so send me a message.

I'm in first year architecture at UNSW so here's my opinion: 1) Design + Tech: extra UAI points towards this degree with HSC Plus (if you do well). I did Yr9-11 D+T; the skills you take with you are the development of your 'process' and 'folio presentation'. Art: there is a LOT of drawing involved in architecture, but you don't need to do HSC Art; you can draw anytime you want! It helps to be able to express what is in your head with a pen. I've run out of space, so you can msg me =)

Im in year 10 and im seriously considering architecture for my future profession but i don't know any architects and i dont have any one to ask questions!! If you guys could help me out i'd really appreciate it. 1) What subjects should i take for my HSC that will be useful for the actual degree? 2) Is it a mathematical degree? (I don't mind maths and i luv art and design! I figured this would be heavily an engineering degree, is it?) 3) What job oppertunities does it provide? thanks!

I love how they 'forgot' to mention that if you study architecture you will spend all night in the studio and have to pull several all nighters before crits.
