first of all , it looks beautiful from a boat. dont get deceive. try the Beach Walk from a different perspective. there is no concrete walk paths along the stations 1 to 4. bringing wheeled luggage on the beach sand can be harrowing. gotta hire a baggage carrier.

GET READY to pay extra environmental fees, lots of vendors with pearls, but cheap affordable food. eat at dokito frito . try mais con hielo 34 pesos .the best bathroom is at Yellow Cab Pizza Company. . only Aklan province. -Caticlan airport

CATICLAN airport sucks, the ferry service needs improvement, too many sqatters at the back of the beach, not good introduction.

i've been to many beach resorts in PI but Boracay is d best. From north Hundred Islands (not Ilocos i've heard beaches r beautiful too) to Dakak (Surigao Mindanao). I grew up in a small town where beach is just 1 block from our house. & here in Vegas is so dull, mostly desert..damn!!! but there's a lot of casinos, lol so it's not boring sometimes..he he he

why do these locals complain about this place being commercialized. ayaw ba ninyo at least kumikita kaysa nakatunganga sa langit. Let it be known that Boracay is one of the best place to go. You know why Hawaii is popular kasi Americans developed it. Puro kayo reklamo. Try not to shorten the name of this place to Bora. There is a real place on planet earth call Bora Bora. So when someone calls Boracay Bora, almost all non-philipinos will think you are referring to Bora Bora. Not doing justice to both places, I'll say.
