lol, dude when you cover something you aren't really supposed to do the original exactly like it is. thats why its a cover. its a different style, but the same song

Fantastic. This song is entirely different from the original. Being a big fan of Radiohead I have to say that I love to hear other artists interpretations of music. I don't see the point in bashing this version, if you folks think that radiohead's version is better, well alright. I personally think they are both fantastic in their own right. This one just has a more...warm feel to it.

....? What? Thats perhaps the most stupid comment i've ever heard...

It is true, this is a VASTLY different song than the Radiohead version.
I actually like it a lot more. This is a different type of alternative and is great. Comparing them to Radiohead just doesn't work.

actually i heard somewhere they make kids with taste and intelect now, who can discern real music from "this sort of stuff"

Not to insult the musical ability but I reckon there'll be lots of 15 year olds who are only just crossing over from Sum 41 and Evanescence into serious adult alternative music, that might think Radiohead are cool, but will still be seduced by this sort of stuff.

This is light fun but too far removed from the original to count as a cover. It's basically an entirely different thing, albeit with the same lyrics. What's worse is that it sounds like a parody; like you've taken everything that's cliched and predictable about Kerrang skatey teeny pop-rock and placed it over the top of a record that epitomises the opposite!

this isn't idioteque. idioteque is techno from hell. this is some happy-go-lucky song |
