Such good equipment, such stupid mistakes. I think they were the best army in the world, its just they took it WAY too far. Its kinda sad. I don't sympathize with Nazis at all. Just sayin'...

insulting? Dont be so sensitive, i just doubt the accuracy of your numbers. Again you are way off. the americans captured around 4 million germans (battles around the rhineland alone counted for more than 150.000 german dead and 300.000 german captured), so it would be nice if you can state your sources. I've based my numbers on the bbc site, wikipedia and the 3rd army site (first two provide a wealth of sources), so these numbers are pretty accurate.

The German's lost in KIA 263,000 on the Western Front The The UK and Allies lost an additional 60,000 KIA The American's lost an additional 135,000 KIA. The 3rd inflicted 1.8 million casualites. However, upwards around 600,000 were POWs captured during the last 2 weeks of the war. Once again the Soviet Union inflicted 80% of the casualties suffered by the Germans. So despite this casualty number game the USSR did nore to defeat the Germans. I'm going to delete your insulting comments by the way

true, but i said: germany lost 4 million to u.s. Not in total. Anyway, i'd say that anyone with a little knowledge of ww2 knows that germany lost way more than 4 million killed + captured (against patton's 3rd army alone they lost 120k killed and 1million captured). So i thought i didn't need to explain the remark too much.

The Germans were defeated by the US, Britain and most of all the Soviet Union. So your statement is SOOOO full of errors! Eighty percent of the German casualties were suffered on the "Russian Front."

well there are some errors in this docu, and too much glorification of the germans.For instance it is not mentioned that the germans were totally crushed by the u.s. (they lost 4 million captured and killed to the u.s. whereas the u.s. lost 150k to them). But it is true that germans weapons (machine guns, tanks and planes) were the best in the war. Thank god they didn't develop the a-bomb or they would have won the war.
