Reconstructionist Judaism may work for you, Reconstructionists believe that God is that spirit within us we place greater emphasis on positive actions, rather than negative prohibitions. According to Reconstructionism, tradition is entitled to a vote, but not a veto.

Necromancy (the calling of the dead) has nothing to do with authentic Hebrew Kabbalah.
It is relegated to an entirely different worldview.

Watching the wisdom of the Kabbalah I have to say kept me away from atheism. I know it is some form of magic but it is a philosophy and it has some evidence for it. Have you checked out the works on reincarnation types of people remembering past lives? Also check out Jeffrey Armstrong vedic astrology here on youtube and watch him beat a skeptic Michael Shermer.

I'm Atheist and I agree, I don't like the upper force idea, it fills the gap nicely but accepting it as fact is denying other possibilities. I will admit though, there are interesting points from this 'wisdom' though.

I've heard a crazy theory that Kabbalah is directly linked to "Necromancy" he didn't include this in the list of things Kabbalah was nothing to do with so i'm worried.
I don't know much about "Necromancy" at all but i've heard it's the most sickest and most wicked of all black magics.
Anyways, since he didn't exclude this can someone else deny it because i'm really scared atm :s
