Well done for posting this, Cavalier (and the other ones on TSR2) As you know, a sad indictment on British aviation/politics, this 'plane was a world-beater.

As per the comment below, I remember seeing this as a young lad at Duxford & was in awe, very futuristic at the time. Can still picture it now, it was almost as if it had been just cast aside in a dusty corner of the hanger & to see it was like 'why isn't this thing the centre piece on display with the Concorde'...if only.....

Thank you very much! I remember going to RAF Cosford and seeing this plane in the late eighties when I was approx 8. I've been transfixed by this plane ever since and it is a crying shame that this plane fell victim to the Politicians. What followed is easily one of THE darkest days in British Aviation. I'm so grateful to those people that preserved as much as they could and we have 2 wonderful examples in good museums.
